1920's shopping and advertisement changed dramatically. Advertisements started displaying women in a more sexually appealing manner as well as using them in order to gain business from men, saying that if you got that product you'd attract more women. Another aspect of how things changed during this time is when women started being more sexualized, wearing shorter skirts and dresses as well as showing more skin such as arms cleavage and their neck. Advertisements started appealing towards appearance only instead of well being such as the advertisement above to alter the way you look either in your bust area or your chin. The 1920's was an area of mass sex appeal involving everything from dresses to advertisements to women expressing more feeling and showing more skin by cutting their hair very short which also became popular in this era.
